Mainstem Clearwater River (Kooskia, ID to Lewiston, ID)

The confluence of the Middle Fork and the South Fork of the Clearwater River forms the main stem of the Clearwater, near Kooskia, ID.

The main stem of the Clearwater, which is 74.8 miles, is a tributary to the Snake River which it joins near Lewiston, ID.

The main stem of the Clearwater has Class I-II rapids, making it a great destination for summer float trips (tubes, rafts, canoes, kayaks, SUPs).
